About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Test Analyst with proven experience in the Superannuation or Financial Services domain. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions by performing end-to-end testing, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and functional requirements, translating them into test plans and test cases
- Lead test design, execution, and defect management across functional, integration, system, and UAT phases
- Conduct API and UI-based testing using both manual and automated tools
- Collaborate with developers, BAs, and stakeholders to ensure complete test coverage
- Perform regression and exploratory testing
- Document test results and provide quality reporting to project leads
- Ensure compliance with superannuation industry regulations and standards
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers as needed
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of testing experience in financial services, with 2+ years in superannuation projects
- Strong manual testing expertise, with solid understanding of QA methodologies
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, HP ALM, TestRail)
- Solid knowledge of superannuation concepts, regulations (e.g., APRA, MySuper), and fund administration processes
- Familiarity with XML, SQL queries, and data validation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Desirable (Bonus) Skills:
- Experience in Playwright with Python or other automation tools
- Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools
- ISTQB or other testing certifications
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices
